BREAKING: Eleanor Brackenhollow, 79, owner of the historic Hawthorn House inn, was found unresponsive at her home this morning. Authorities have been called to the scene. No further details have been confirmed. We will update this post as information becomes available. Our thoughts are with her family and the Foxglove Hollow community.

Made it to Foxglove Hollow. This is the field near Millrace Road where my great-great-grandmother's land was. Her name was Josephine Ferris. She purchased this parcel legally in 1858. By 1864 it was recorded under someone else's name — no payment, no explanation. I came here to find out what happened.
